The SLAP Senior team is coached by Miguel Figueras. Miguel holds a BA in Economics and Theology from Loyola Marymount University. He has completed four seasons as head water polo coach at DeSmet Jesuit High School. Miguel began coaching in 1993 as an assistant with MICDS and the Daisy Water Polo Club. He has also assisted at University City High School and the Tidewater Polo Club in Virginia Beach, VA. Currently he is a Second Grade teacher and after school director at The Wilson School in Clayton, MO. Miguel played water polo for Loyola Marymount University and is currently a member of the Clayton Water Polo Club. Miguel lives in University City with his wife and 2 sons. He is the 2004 & 2005 Suburban Central Conference Coach of the Year and the District Coach of the Year.

Corey Miller is the SLAP Junior Team and Women's Team coach. Corey holds a BS in Physical Education from Salem International University and he is the head water polo coach at Ladue High School where he also holds the position of PE Teacher and Pool Manager. Corey has coached for 5 years both at the club level with the St. Louis Gators and the Flyers Aquatics Team as well as for 5 seasons with Oakville High School as the head coach before moving to Ladue in 2005. Corey played water polo for Golden West Junior College in Huntington Beach, CA and varsity water polo at Salem International University. He is currently a member of the Clayton Water Polo Club. Corey lives in South County with his wife and dog. Corey is the 2004 Suburan South Conference Coach of the Year.

Josh Bell is an assistant coach with the SLAP Senior Team and is the game coach for the SLAP B Team. During high school Josh played for the extremely successful club team, San Diego Shores. Josh played college water polo for The University of Colorado and spent time as the team's player/coach. After graduation Josh spent time coaching with various club teams and Junior College teams around the San Diego area. Additionally, he spent a year working for Oscar Meyer seeing the country driving the Weinermobile. Josh currently is part owner of a family business that manages a KOA Campground in San Diego on the Ocean as well as a new campground on the south rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. He lives with his wife in the Central West End.

Joe Gudiswitz is an assistant coach with the SLAP Junior Team. He and Miguel were teammates at St. Louis University High School in the late 80's. He is married to Miguel's sister and his son is a member of the Junior Team.

Both Corey and Miguel are board members of the non-for profit organization Missouri Water Polo. In addition they are partners in the company, Strike Zone Water Polo, LLC, which provides summer water polo camps and beginners leagues for boys and girls ages 6-14 as well as run the St. Louis Summer Water Polo League and the Collegiate Water Polo League.
