Winter Session SLAP Juniors
SLAP Juniors (5th-8th graders) will focus on learning basic water polo fundamentals as well as position and basic game strategy through drills and scrimmaging. No experience is necessary for this group. Beginning in December this group will compete in games against other club teams in the Strike Zone Winter Water Polo League on Saturday mornings at Ladue High School. Until the league starts the team will practice on Saturday mornings at Ladue. Saturday practice times will be announced once the season begins. Fee for the SLAP Junior Team is $150 + 2009 US Water Polo registration

Winter Session SLAP Senior A Team
The SLAP Senior A team (Junior boys and older) will hold 3 practices per week. Each practice will focus on a specific aspect of the game. Monday's practice concentrates on shooting and passing while Wednesday's focus is on offense and defense. The Thursday practice is a weekly scrimmage with the Clayton Senior Men's Team. There is an hour overlap of conditioning with the Senior B Team on Monday and Wednesday nights. Beginning Saturday's in December, the team will compete in the Daisy Winter Water Polo League at MICDS. Games are held in the late morning and early afternoon. The league tournament is scheduled for February 6-8, 2009. Fee for the SLAP Senior A Team is $300 ($240 for U. City students and residents) + 2009 US Water Polo registration.

The SLAP Senior B team (Freshman / Sophomore / Women's Team members) will hold 3 practices per week. Each practice will focus on a specific aspect of the game. Monday's practice concentrates on shooting and passing, Tuesday's practice concentrates on offense, defense, 6 on 5 and scrimmaging while Wednesday's focus is on passing and counter attack. There is an hour overlap of conditioning with the Senior A Team on Monday and Wednesday nights. Beginning Saturday's in December, the team will compete in the Daisy Winter Water Polo League at MICDS. Games are held in the late morning and early afternoon. The league tournament is scheduled for February 6-8, 2009. With the switch of high school season to spring, those players that have never played, but are interested in trying out for their high school teams are strongly encouraged to give SLAP a try. No experience is necessary to join this group, just a willingness to learn, positive attitude and a desire to have fun. Fee for the SLAP Senior B Team is $300 ($240 for U. City students and residents) + 2009 US Water Polo registration.

SLAP Piranhas (1st -4th graders) will focus on learning basic water polo skills, such as treading water, passing, throwing & shooting. No experience is necessary for this group. Players will practice for 30 minutes and then play a 30 minute game. Fee for the SLAP Piranhas is $75 + 2009 US Water Polo Registration.

Fall Session SLAP Junior Team
This group is open to boys and girls in 5th-8th grade. There is no experience necessary. There is no practice on August 26th. Beginning in September the team will play games in the Strike Zone Water Polo Fall Middle School League. From this group the SLAP coaching staff will decide which boys from the team will represent St. Louis at the Speedo Cup in Michigan in early November.
