2024 summer registration for St. Louis Area Polo is now open.  We have 5 different age groups training this summer.  The summer session starts June 3rd and ends July 30th. 

Athletes going to Junior Olympics should register with the training group according to their grade.  Example:  An athlete on the 16U JO team that is an incoming junior should register with the  SLAP 18’s training group.  An athlete that is on the 16U JO team that is an incoming sophomore should register with the SLAP 16’s training group.  JO athletes on the 18U Boys (A & B), 16U Boys (A & B) and High School Girls should expect to train 2-3 mornings per week with their respective JO teams at the Shaw Park Aquatic Center. A separate training schedule will be sent to those JO teams.  


SLAP 18’s (fall of 2024 11th & 12th graders and 2024 graduates) 

Monday - Friday 6-8 am @ John Burroughs School 


SLAP 16’s (fall of 2024 9th & 10th graders / 11th graders ok to train with this group)

Monday-Friday 6:30-8:30 am @ MICDS


SLAP High School Girls Team (incoming 9th-12th grade girls and 2024 Graduates)

Monday-Friday 6:30-8:30 am @ MICDS


SLAP 14’s  (incoming 7th & 8th graders)

Monday-Friday 6:30-8:30 am @ MICDS


SLAP 12’s  (incoming 4th, 5th & 6th graders / beginner incoming 7th graders ok for this group ) 

Monday-Friday 8-9 am @ Shaw Park Aquatic Center.

No practice on the following days:

June 19th all groups  (Juneteenth Holiday)

June 21st SLAP 12’s only  (CSP Swim Meet pool closed))

July 4th all groups  (July 4th Holiday)

In addition to the club dues, all athletes must have a current USA Water Polo membership.  When registering, please make sure to register with Clayton Water Polo Club (Club #12).  To update your USA Water Polo Membership or to join, click here: USA Water Polo Membership Link. 


*Due to MICDS  rules spectators aren’t allowed in the pool area  during practice hours.   Parents should plan on dropping their children off in the north parking lot which is parking lot A on the campus map:  The pool is located in building 29 and athletes should enter through the front entrance.  Athletes driving themselves should use the north lot for parking.   Athletes should not enter the pool area until SLAP Coaches are present on deck.
